Win Red (or Pink) Lips from The Elixery!

A girl can never have too many red lipsticks, but sometimes that perfect color is hard to find.  

That’s where the Minneapolis cosmetics house, The Elixery, comes in. It took founder Karoline Wells a year to formulate the perfect recipe for the vegan and animal-cruelty free lipsticks she crafts by hand. Since 2009, Wells has cranked out everything from a gorgeous fuchsia (Lakshmi) to a sheer berry color that enhances your natural lip color (Devious.)

She spends hours matching, mixing and testing colors (including on her husband, Michael) to find the perfect shade.

“I had a customer who told me people didn’t listen to her unless she was wearing her red lipstick,” Wells said. “She would put on her red lipstick and suddenly she would have an opinion and they were listening.”
